LABOR IS GOD'S IDEA
When God created man He planted him in the Garden of Eden and gave him work. And when there were two-male and female-work remained. Work was a part of the world God declared to be very good. (Genesis 1:31).
When god redeemed people he also redeemed their labor
God designed labor to be carried out in the direction of His holy purposes with the strength and wisdom He provided to us through intimate relationship. The motivation, end goal and means for edenic (pleasurable) labor was and is God. When we decided to direct our energies away from His purposes, to pursue our own self-directed purposes, labor became hard and an undesirable means to an end.
When god redeemed people he also redeemed their labor
When Jesus Christ finished His redemptive work on the cross, all who clung to His work were transformed into children of God-the redeemed. The redeemed are once again invited to edenic labor.
